The Unpredictable By Donata Liu

The Unpredictable

By Donata Liu

Weather in Bay State lacks normality
I swear Mother Nature is bipolar
Frequent changes is a brutality
Each day gets either hotter or colder

Winter extends for more than half a year
By then everybody wants warm weather
‘Tis mid-March, yet snow is still what’s to fear
Can the seasons please just come together?

One warmer day in March gives such false hope
But then Mother Nature changes her mind
She laughs and says, “Y’all wanted spring, but nope!”
Why can’t you pick on someone your own kind?

Bay State weather is unpredictable

Everyday ‘tis very unthinkable.
